As per the ABC Research Report based upon the data of the Ministry of Health and Family welfare till 8 AM of 17/01/2021, there are 208826 active cases,10196885 COVID-19 patients have been discharged and 152274 persons lost their lives in India till 8 AM of 17/01/2021.According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare released data a total of 2,24,301 beneficiaries have been vaccinated till today.

New Delhi (ABC Live India): The Day 299 Report of COVID-19: Today was the 299 day of India’s Fight against Coronavirus: ABC Research Report.

As per the ABC Research Report based upon the data of the Ministry of Health and Family welfare till 8 AM of 17/01/2021, there are 208826 active cases,10196885 COVID-19 patients have been discharged and 152274 persons lost their lives in India till 8 AM of 17/01/2021.According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare released data a total of 2,24,301 beneficiaries have been vaccinated till today.

On the testing of the capacity of India, the ICMR in its daily report on 16/01/2021 that a total of 18,65,44,868 have been conducted in India till 9 AM of 16/01/2021. Further, the ICMR reported that 7,79,377 new samples were taken during the last 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued Updates on COVID-19

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare released Update on COVID-19 Vaccination according to which Total of 2,24,301 beneficiaries have been vaccinated till today as per the provisional report.

The ICMR issued testing Updates of India for 16/01/2021 

The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare stated that Paddy procurement for Kharif 2020-21 is continuing smoothly in the procuring States & UTs of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Uttarakhand, Tamil Nadu, Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam,Karnataka and West Bengal with purchase of over 564.17 LMTs of paddy up to 16.01.2021.This is an increase of 25.25% against the last year corresponding purchase of 450.42LMT. Out of the total purchase of 564.17LMT, Punjab alone has contributed 202.77 LMT which is 35.94% of total procurement.

The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways stated that The Ministry has constructed 8,169 km of National Highways (NHs) from April 2020 to 15 January 2021 in the current financial year 2020-21, i.e. with a speed of about 28.16 km per day. During the same period in the last fiscal, 7,573 km roads were constructed, with a speed of 26.11 km per day.
