New Delhi (ABC Live): The Day 738 COVID-19 Vaccination Report of India: Today was day 738 of the countrywide COVID-19 vaccination program and the total numbers of doses given were reached 2,202,844,815 (As per MoHFW Data) and 2,20,30,35,681 As per CoWIN Data).
According to the official data released by MoHFW out of reported 2,202,844,815 vaccine doses, 922,247,273 were administered as first doses, whereas the remaining 865,336,143 doses were second doses to a group of 18+ age. Also till today 62,148,690 as first doses and 53,741,934 as second doses were given to children of the age group of 15-18 years 41,294,528 doses to the age group of 12-14 years as first dose and 32,526,259 as second doses and 22,55,49,988 have been administered as booster doses.
The difference between the vaccination data reported by CoWIN and by MoHFW at 7AM on 23/01/2023 reported 1,90,866 doses, as numbers of vaccines 2,202,844,815 (As per MoHFW Data) and 2,20,30,35,681 As per CoWIN Data).
The PIB did not issue a press release today data on COVID19 Vaccination for 12-14 years which was started on 16/03/2022 but MoHFW on its official website informed that a total of 7,38,20,787 vaccination doses were given as of date to children of age 12-14 year.
The ABC Research team reports that no data was released on data on the number of vaccine doses that have been provided to States/UTs, the number of doses still with the States/UTs and a total number of doses utilized including wastage remained. The total number of doses administered today was 2,18,318 (As per CoWIN Data) and 39,496 as per MoHFW Data), therefore by keeping in view the huge ambiguity in the data provided by the government agencies, the ABC Research team has decided to publish a detailed report of India’s vaccination data after proper verification of vaccination data of India.
India’s Active Caseload currently stands at 1934.The Active cases now constitute 0% of the country's total Positive Cases.
The ABC Research Report of the day 1035says The CoWIN dashboard, the official website of India's COVID-19 vaccination program confirmed that to date 1,10,88,69,868 persons registered themselves for getting COVID-19 Vaccines, out of these 4,20,98,779 the age of 12-14 years 6,30,22,041 are of the age group of 15-17 years, 63,33,96,331 are of the age group of 18-44 years and the remaining 37,02,95,073 belong to the age group 45+. Further, the CoWIN dashboard data says that against, 1,10,88,69,868 registered for vaccination, a total of 2,20,30,35,681 have been vaccinated, the meaning thereby that 1,09,41,65,813 persons were vaccinated more than the registered numbers.
The Ministry of Health and family, on the COVID-19 Vaccination Day 738 a total of vaccine doses 2,202,844,815 have been given till today, whereas as per COWIN 2,20,30,35,681 doses were administered as of date, out of these 1,02,72,84,475 were the first doses 95,14,86,826 were the second doses And the remaining 22,42,64,380 were booster doses, the meaning thereby there is a difference 1,90,866 vaccine doses in both the vaccine data issued by the government of India's official agencies in favour of CoWIN Data.
