Aligning with India’s G20 Presidency theme of ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’, the Agriculture Working Group (AWG) aspires to enhance cooperation among G20 nations.

Chandigarh (ABC Live): Today is the 73rd day of India’s G20 Presidency as of date 15 meetings of various working groups have been organized and 16th is all set to be concluded today in Bengaluru.

The ABC Research team is keeping a close watch on all meetings and events organize under India’s G20 Presidency and will publish a research report on India’s G20 Presidency after New Delhi G20 summit 2023.

The 1st Agriculture Deputies Meeting (ADM) will be held at Indore from 13/02/2023 to 15/02/2023 wherein the ADM will Stock taking of G-20 initiatives in Agriculture and discuss on Global Forum on Climate Smart Agriculture for Food Security.

The department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare on its official website says, “Aligning with India’s G20 Presidency theme of ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’, the Agriculture Working Group (AWG) aspires to enhance cooperation among G20 nations. The summit provides the member countries with an opportunity to coordinate at the policy level to work towards achieving global economic stability and sustainable growth. Concerning agriculture, the current challenges that member nations face are food insecurity, gaps in the global value chain, crop productivity due to climate change, and employment. Through the Issue note, the aim is to address these challenges.”
