As per the Day 405 COVID-19 Report of India there are 3413642 active cases 16293003 COVID-19 patients have been discharged and 218959 persons lost their lives in India till 03/05/2021.

New Delhi (ABC Live India): The Day 405 COVID-19 Report of India: Today was the 405 day of India’s Fight against Coronavirus: ABC Research Report.

As per the Day 405 COVID-19 Report of India there are 3413642 active cases 16293003 COVID-19 patients have been discharged and 218959 persons lost their lives in India till 03/05/2021.

According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare released data, a total of 15,88,71,435 vaccine doses have been given till today.

On the testing of the capacity of India, the ICMR in its daily report on 03/05/2021 that a total of 29,16,47,037 have been conducted in India till 9 AM of 02/05/2021. Further, the ICMR reported that 15,04,698 new samples were taken during the last 24 hours.

  • The Prime Minister's Office informed that PM reviewed Covid related initiatives by the Indian Navy
  • The Prime Minister's Office informed that Medical personnel completing 100 days of Covid duties will be given priority in forthcoming regular Government recruitments
  • The Prime Minister's Office informed that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had a phone call today with Her Excellency Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission.
  • The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare released COVID-19 Updates
  • The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare stated that 15,88,71,435 vaccine doses have been given till today.
  • The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare  issued notification for Renewal of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package: Insurance Scheme for Health Workers fighting COVID-19 w.e.f. 24.04.2021 for a further period of 180 days
  • The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued a letter to states/UTs for Augmenting Human Resources for Covid-19
  • The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare clarified that 100?vance of Rs. 1732.50 cr (after TDS Rs. 1699.50 cr) was released to Serum Institute of India (SII) on 28.04.2021 for 11 crore doses of Covishield vaccine during May, June and July, and was received by them on 28.04.2021.As on date, against the last order of 10 crore doses for supplies of Covishield vaccine, 8.744 crore doses have been delivered till 03.05.2021.Additionally, 100?vance of Rs. 787.50 cr (after TDS Rs. 772.50 cr) was released on 28.04.2021 to Bharat Biotech India Ltd (BBIL) for 05 crore Covaxin doses during May, June and July, and was received by them on 28.04.2021. As on date against the last order of 02 crore doses for supplies of Covaxin vaccine, 0.8813 crore doses have been delivered till 03.05.2021.Hence to say that fresh orders have not been placed by Government of India is not correct
  • The ICMR issued COVID-19 Testing Updates today
  • The ICMR stated that Till date, 97 Antigen based Rapid Test Kits have been validated (including 18 revalidated Kits), and the following are found to be satisfactory
  • The Ministry of Finance clarified that the matter regarding a consignment of 3,000 Oxygen Concentrators lying with Customs Authorities came up in the Hon’ble Delhi High Court and the same was clarified by the Government Counsel that presently no such consignment is pending with Custom Authorities.
