As per the Day 407 COVID-19 Report of India there are 3487229 active cases 16951731 COVID-19 patients have been discharged and 226188 persons lost their lives in India till 05/05/2021.

New Delhi (ABC Live India): The Day 407 COVID-19 Report of India: Today was the 407 day of India’s Fight against Coronavirus: ABC Research Report.

As per the Day 407 COVID-19 Report of India there are 3487229 active cases 16951731 COVID-19 patients have been discharged and 226188 persons lost their lives in India till 05/05/2021.

According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare released data, a total of 16,24,30,828 vaccine doses have been given till today.

On the testing of the capacity of India, the ICMR in its daily report on 05/05/2021 that a total of 29,48,52,078 have been conducted in India till 9 AM of 04/05/2021. Further, the ICMR reported that 15,41,299 new samples were taken during the last 24 hours.

  • The Ministry of Health and Family Welfarreleased COVID-19 Updates
  • The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare stated that 16,24,30,828 vaccine doses have been given till today.

  • The Ministry of Health and Family reviewed Preparedness of 5 States of Eastern India to address Needs and Challenges of current phase of COVID Pandemic
  • The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare released the details of international donations of Covid-19 relief medical supplies and equipment since 27 April 2021 from different countries including United Kingdom, Ireland, Romania, Russia, UAE, USA, Taiwan, Kuwait, France, Thailand, Germany, Uzbekistan, Belgium, Italy, etc.
  • The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare claimed that More than 6.7 Lakh beneficiaries of age group 18-44 Vaccinated under Phase-3 of Vaccination Drive
  • The ICMR issued COVID-19 Testing Updates today.
  • The Ministry of Home Affairs has written a letter to states/UTs to ensure uninterrupted power supply in hospitals and medical facilities including covid dedicated facilities
  • The Ministry of Defence stated that the Indian Navy has stepped up its COVID relief Operation Samudra Setu II with ships from all three Naval Commands in Mumbai, Visakhapatnam and Kochi, deployed for shipment of Liquid Medical Oxygen and associated medical equipment from friendly foreign countries in Persian Gulf and South East Asia.

  • The Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers claimed that 16.5 lakh vials of Remdesivir allocated between May 3 and May 9
  • The Ministry of Steel claimed that the Total Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) Production by the Steel plants was 3680.30 MT, and Total LMO Supply was 4076.65 MT. In comparison, the LMO supply was 3131.84 Metric Tonnes to various states on the 25th April 2021. In mid-April, on an average 1500-1700 Metric tonnes /day was being dispatched.
  • The Ministry of Civil Aviation has granted conditional exemption from Unmanned Aircraft System {UAS) Rules, 2021 to 20 entities to conduct Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) experimental flights of drones. The preliminary permission grant is envisioned to assist the supplementary framework development of subsequent UAV rules pertaining to Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) drone operations.
