On the testing of the capacity of India, the ICMR in its daily report on 26/07/2021 informed that a total of 45,91,64,121 have been conducted in India till 9 AM of 26/07/2021. Further, the ICMR reported that 17,20,110 new samples were taken during the last 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health and family did not release the detailed COVID-19 Updates for Day 490 and issued a precise COVID-19 indicator of the day.

The CoWIN dashboard, the official website of India's COVID-19 vaccination program confirmed that to date 42,45,75,915 persons registered themselves for getting COVID-19 Vaccines, out of these 21,98,50,079 are of the age group of 18-44 years and the remaining 20,47,25,836 belong to the age group 45+. Further, the CoWIN dashboard data says that against 42,45,75,915 registered for vaccination, a total of  44,11,54,738 has been vaccinated, meaning thereby that 1,65,78,823 persons were vaccinated more than the registered numbers.

And the remaining 9,52,66,174 were as the second doses, Meaning thereby there is a difference of 46,84,961 vaccine doses in both the vaccine data issued by the government of India's official agencies.
