As per the Day 547 COVID-19 Report of India, there are 3,01,989 active
cases of COVID-19 in India, 3,27,83,741COVID-19 patients have been
discharged, and 4,45,768 persons have lost their lives in India to date.
According to the COVID-19 Vaccination Day 250 Report a total of 83,33,46,676
vaccine doses have been given till today.
On the testing of the capacity of India, the ICMR in its daily report on
21/09/2021 informed that a total of 55,67,54,282 have been conducted in India
till 9 AM of 21/09/2021. Further, the ICMR reported that 15,92,395 new samples
were taken during the last 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health and Family released detailed COVID-19
Updates for Day 547, and also issued a precise COVID-19 indicator
of the day.
The Ministry of Health and Family released the data of
COVID-19 Vaccination Day 250 says that a total of 83,33,46,676 vaccine doses
have been given till today.
The Ministry of Health and family claimed that 80,13,26,335 numbers
of vaccine doses have been provided to States/UTs so far, through all sources
to date, the numbers of doses still with the States/UTs are 4,52,07,660 and the
data of a total number of doses utilized including wastage 75,61,18,675 doses.

The Ministry of Commerce & Industry claimed that India
has attracted a total FDI inflow of US$ 27.37 billion during the first four months of
F.Y. 2021-22 which is 62% higher as compared to the corresponding period of F.Y.
2020-21 (US$ 16.92 billion).
The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food &
Public Distribution claimed that the Government
of India has so far allocated nearly 600 LMT of Foodgrains under PMGKAY Scheme
in all its four phases. Against the total allocation done under the scheme in
all phases, 82.76% of the lifting of Foodgrains has been done till September 15,
2021.
The Ministry of Mines claimed that the
index of mineral production of the mining and quarrying sector for the month of
June 2021 (Base:2011-12=100) at 105.5, was 23.1% higher as compared to the
level in the month of June 2020. The cumulative growth for the period
April-June, 2020-21 over the corresponding period of the previous year has
increased 27.4 percent.
The Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas
claimed
that during August 2021 was 2518.56TMT, which is 5.98% lower than the target for the
monthand2.29% lower when compared with production of August 2020. Cumulative
crude oil production during April-August, 2021 was 12480.21TMT, which is 3.33%
and 3.15% lower than the target for the period and production during the corresponding
period of last year respectively.

The Central government has informed the Supreme Court that it has
recommended compensation of ₹50,000 for every person who succumbed to COVID-19.

The Central government has filed an appeal against a single-judge order
of the Kerala High Court which had ruled that individuals who pay for the Covishield
vaccine have the right to choose whether to get the second dose any time after
four weeks from the first dose but before the 84-day interval prescribed by the
Central Government (The Secretary to Government of India v. Kitex Garments
Limited).
The Kerala High Court on Wednesday sought clarification from the State
regarding why treatment for post-Covid complications was not considered a part of
coronavirus care when the death of a person 30 days after turning Covid
negative was treated as a COVID-19 death. Read

CoWIN dashboard, the official website of India's COVID-19
vaccination program confirmed that to date 68,38,11,318 persons registered
themselves for getting COVID-19 Vaccines, out of these 40,45,91,798 are
of the age group of 18-44 years and the remaining 27,92,19,520 belong to the
age group 45+. Further, the CoWIN dashboard data says that against 68,38,11,318
registered for vaccination, a total of 83,33,38,186 have been vaccinated,
meaning thereby that 14,95,26,868 persons were vaccinated more than the
registered numbers.
The Ministry of Health and family, the COVID-19 Vaccination Day 250 a
total of 83,33,46,676 vaccine doses have been given till today, whereas
the as per COWIN portal 83,33,38,186 doses were administered as of
date, out of these, 61,90,84,741 were the first doses. And the remaining 21,42,53,445
were the second doses, meaning thereby there is a difference of 8,490 vaccine
doses in both the vaccine data issued by the government of India's official
agencies in favour of the PIB Data.
The ABC Research team reported today it was the first time that the difference
between both the data released by PIB and COWIN has come to 8,490, which
can be considered identical.
