As per the ABC Research Report based Upon the data of the Ministry of Health and Family welfare till 8 AM of 12/01/2021, there are 216558 active cases, 10111294 COVID-19 patients have been discharged and 151327 persons lost their lives in India till 8 AM of 12/01/2021.

New Delhi (ABC Live India): The Day 294 Report of COVID-19: Today was the 294 day of India’s Fight against Coronavirus: ABC Research Report.

As per the ABC Research Report based Upon the data of the Ministry of Health and Family welfare till 8 AM of 12/01/2021, there are 216558 active cases, 10111294 COVID-19 patients have been discharged and 151327 persons lost their lives in India till 8 AM of 12/01/2021.

On the testing of the capacity of India, the ICMR in its daily report on 12/01/2021 that a total of 18,26,52,887 have been conducted in India till 9 AM of 12/01/2021. Further, the ICMR reported that 8, 97,056 new samples were taken during the last 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued Updates on COVID-19

The ICMR issued testing Updates of India for 11/01/2021

The Ministry of Finance stated that Manipur has become the 4th State in the country to successfully undertake “Urban Local Bodies (ULB)” reforms stipulated by the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance in its letter to the States dated 17th May, 2020. Thus, the State has become eligible to mobilise additional financial resources of Rs.75 crore through Open Market Borrowings. Permission for the same was issued by the Department of Expenditure on 11th January, 2021. Manipur has now joined the three other States namely, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Telangana, who have completed this reform. On completion of Urban Local Bodies reform, these four States have been granted additional borrowing permission of Rs.7,481 crore. 

The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare stated that The Scheme covers over 5.5 crore farmer applications year on year. Till date, claims worth Rs 90,000 crores have already been paid out under the Scheme. Aadhar seeding has helped in speedy claim settlement directly into the farmer accounts. Even during COVID lock down period nearly 70 lakh farmers benefitted and claims worth Rs. 8741.30 crores were transferred to the beneficiaries.

The Ministry of Commerce & Industry stated that Meeting of the Parliamentary Consultative Committee of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry was held today on the subject "New Foreign Trade Policy 2021-26". The meeting was chaired by the Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, and attended by Hon'ble Members of Parliament and senior officers of the Ministry.
