New Delhi (ABC Live): The COVID-19 pandemic emerged in 2020 in India have finally came under fully controlled in the month of June, 2023. 

The ABC research team reporting since March 25, 2020 on India’s fight against COVID-19 has also finally described the COVID-19 pandemic, a thing of past today.

As per MOHFW data there are 1983 active cases COVID-19 in India as of date, 4, 44, 59,514 persons have fully recovered and 5, 31,893 persons lost their lives as of date.

Further, MOHFW data 2,206,732,512 doses were administered as of 17/06/2023 where as COWIN Data confirms that 2,20,67,06,608 doses were administered till date against total registration of 1,10,92,31,948 persons. 4,21,07,272 registrations belong to the age group of 12-14, 6,29,28,522 of age group of 15-17, 63,37,02,047  of age group of 18-44 and 37,04,36,554 of age group of 45+ 

Also, out of 2,20,67,06,608 of total vaccine doses given 1,02,74,11,075 are first doses, 95,19,78,102 as second doses and 22,73,17,431 as booster doses.

According to ICMR 93,17,70,588 COVID-19 tests were conducted as of date and out these 74,749 were conducted on June 16, 2023.
